Reaching & Teaching

Helping students reach their goals and music educators teach their goals by providing piano lessons and digital music resources.

About Gunno Studio

Gunno Studio offers piano lessons for ages 5 to adult and from beginner to advanced in Morgantown, WV. Students receive individualized lessons to reach their musical goals. They learn how to read and understand music. Playing a variety of music, not just classical, enables students to discover new music and to play their favorite music styles.  Gunno Studio is growing to begin including content and digital resources that help students and parents on their piano lesson journey. Music educators will find ideas and activities to support their teaching objectives as well.

How It All Started

Gunno Studio began in Georgetown, OH in 2005 in a small room off the garage with 5 students and then began again in Morgantown, WV in 2006. She was a new mother at the time and wanted to continue her career with a bit more flexibility. Sheryl’s father and grandfather started and owned their own business for over 50 years and that entrepreneurial spirit was passed on to her. She now has a dedicated space with multiple pianos, a waiting area and 30+ students. Sheryl helps students meet specific goals whether that is to be a hobby musician, to play in community groups, to enjoy music with family and friends, to build a solid foundation in music to transfer to other instruments, to pursue music as a career, etc. Her passion is to help any student who wants to play piano realize that dream and to build skills that enable them to learn any song they wish for a lifetime of music enjoyment. Her desire to continue helping students learn music has led to Gunno Studio growing.  She will begin creating relevant content and digital resources students, parents and teachers can use to meet their goals whether to answer music questions or to find downloadable activities to use.
